BemerkungenI know this sighting does not qualify as a fireball, but my wife and I did see this trail of meteors-lights, shooting stars. Have to report it someplace. We were sitting in the hot tub, as we have done thousands of times in the evenings, watching the night sky.

BemerkungenThis was a trail of lights, dozen of lights all in a row moving at the same speed. The lights varied from bright to very dim, unevenly spaced. As if a satellite broke up and was burning up as it fell, but none of the lights had any tail. This trail of lights was very long, I would say it was 5% of the full arc of the sky from horizon to horizon. It entered my vision from the SW and went in a straight line to the NE and out of sight as trees finally blocked my view.
