Bemerkungen | Was trying to look at comet NEOWISE to the west under the big dipper when the space station went by going NW to NE at 30 deg max elevation. When the ISS was under Cassiopea at about 30 deg azimuth, at about 23:00:10 the meteor appeared to the left of it at a steep vertical angle right to left, was bright bluish and wide with lots of trails. First thought it was a firework because people let them off here, but it was quiet so i realised that it was a fireball,have reported at least 2 others here previously. Its amazing that someone actually got a photo from what appears to be the back, or north of the meteor. It actually looked like the photo here except that it went from right to left and at a steeper angle. |
